Ever since I was introduced to data visualization a few years ago, I've been captivated by the power it embodies. This led me to explore Power BI, a software utilized at my workplace. Despite the abundance of resources available online, navigating through videos and articles only got me so far. I found myself lacking in comprehensive conceptual understanding. So, whenever issues arose with my reports in Power BI, I'd get stuck, and scouring the internet for solutions didn’t prove to be efficient or sustainable.

While I could have potentially self-taught, balancing a full-time job and life made it difficult to sift through endless online information. That's where Shannon came in. He provided structure to my scattered understanding of Power BI, addressing the profound conceptual gaps and enriching my knowledge with insights I hadn't even realized I was missing.

What stood out about Shannon was not only his expertise but also his exceptional interpersonal skills. He was approachable yet maintained a high level of professionalism. Shannon tailored our sessions to fit my schedule, prioritizing areas where I needed the most assistance.

Every session was a two-way one; extremely interactive. Shannon also provided hands-on assignments and projects to solidify concepts. I am now a Microsoft Certified Power BI data analyst, and this wouldn’t have been possible without my Power BI coach 😊

I can't recommend Shannon enough and I'm incredibly grateful to have found someone who will undoubtedly be a mentor for life!
